Galatians 3 Continued Too
The law was put over man as a guardian until the promise could be given. When Jesus Christ, the promise, accomplished His mission, a way for adoption was created so that we might become that which we had no hope of obtaining otherwise . Through Jesus those who believe have the right to be called children of God. Jesus Christ, the One who provided for our adoption, has become our Guardian.
The law establishes titles such as Jew and Gentile, male and female, free and slave, rich and poor, etc. Jesus makes us offspring and heirs to the promise, and He eliminates the labels given by the law. Under the adoption and guardianship of Jesus Christ there are no longer Jews or Gentiles or the rest of the titles created under the law. We are now one - one heritage, one prize, one people - to the One who redeemed us. Jesus has abolished the categories we use to label ourselves and replaced them with the label - Child of God.
