throughout history humans have lost sight of their Maker while adoring the blessings received from their Maker. This has robbed them of the joy and fulfillment found in communion with Almighty God.

We focus on the One who blesses. We center on the Great I Am, a Heavenly Father who lavishly bestows His many blessings on those He loves.

My Portion

My Portion

At the end of Psalm 17, King David calls on God to deliver him from “the wicked.” He goes on to describe his adversaries as “those of this world whose reward is in this life.” The psalmist contrasts his enemies with himself. While their portion was in the worldly life they lived, David’s portion was not in his earthly existence. He knew his vindication would be to “see your [the Lord’s] face.”

David would see his reward when he passed from this life to “awake” and see the face of Almighty God! Remember, believer, your reward is not of this world. This system, built by human hands, has no eternal value for you. Your portion is in the life beyond this world, where you shed the chains of mortal existence and look upon the face of your Savior and Lord.
