Dear John Letter to Money

Dear Money,

First off, let me say that I truly enjoyed our times together.  You are so full of excitement!  You are so fun to be around.  You know how much you meant to me.  Unfortunately, I feel like I did not matter much to you.  That is why I am writing this letter.

You see, I found Someone else.  He is good, faithful and trustworthy.  He makes me feel awesome and loved.  I never feel afraid or have to worry that He is going to leave me.  Life is fulfilling with Him.  I know that He loves me - not because of what I do, but because of what He does!

I never really felt the same with you, Money.  It seems that I continually sacrificed for you.  You would only give me more of yourself when I gave you everything I had.  Your love is not unconditional.  You require greater sacrifice than a person can give for your affection.  I am tired of it.

I am sure we will see each other around town.  I want you to know that you are still welcome in my life.  You will always be important to me.  But, let’s keep it as friends.  I’m not interested in breaking my back any longer in a one sided love affair. I have found Someone else and He makes me happier than I have ever been with you.

Sincerely,

Freed Life
