Once Was Enough
Jesus offered Himself one time. Once was enough. Why was once enough for Jesus but not when considering the animals sacrificed under the Old Covenant?
Jesus was perfect. Jesus was truly spotless, unblemished. His spirit was unaffected by man’s fall because he never partook in man’s sin. The requirement of sacrifice was completely satisfied by Jesus’ death - once for all!
He has been here once and He is coming again. The first time He came to deal with sin. When He returns it will be for us - those who eagerly await him.
He is done with the sin thing. He is looking to get His people and excited to live with them eternally.
