Genuine

Do you think Jesus set out with a purpose of living a holy life?  Was Jesus concentrated on making sure He did not sin, that He followed all the rules? Jesus did not boast of His holiness from the standpoint of living a perfect life.  Even where it would have benefited Him the greatest before Pilate, He did not bring up His sinlessness.

Jesus was not concentrated on living a holy life.  His focus was on pleasing and glorifying God, His Father.  With this focus, it was natural that Jesus would accomplish the supernatural sinless life.  My point is not that it was easy for Jesus to accomplish. In fact, it is likely, due to Jesus’ fame and His opposition to the establishment, that those who would tempt did everything they could to get Jesus to fall.

They failed.  Jesus lived a holy, perfect life.  He accomplished it through His genuine love of God.
