Roomba or Hoover Vacuum Christian

Are you a Roomba or a Hoover-type Christian? 

Roomba Christians are those modern types that run around the world bumping into stuff. They prefer to do it all on their own. They are determined to adapt and follow the world’s program. They love the Lord and know He loves them. But they will not relinquish their programming. So every day they give lip service to following Jesus Christ, but return to the same old program. 

How about a Hoover vacuum type Christian? Well, this type of Christian does not operate on a program. They rely wholly on the hand of God to direct their every movement. When God says move, they move. When God’s hand is not pushing them, they stay still. It is the arm of the Lord that gives them purpose and direction. He moves them to accomplish His will.
