God is Cooking

God has no need of food to live.  But He certainly does cook, and in the sense of cooking up “trouble” (that would be the good kind), God is all about it.

Like putting smoldering embers together and blowing on them to ignite a fire, God is continually mixing things up to get a fire started.  On the scale of a small batch of cupcakes (an individual’s life) to a full buffet (among nations and even on a worldwide scale), God is making everything come together in just the right measure and time, at just the right temperature to result in a most appetizing meal.

God is cooking up a meal to be served to royalty, to the children of the King of Kings.  God will do the cooking, the setting of the table and serving of the guests.  When He is finished with His masterpiece banquet, He will take off the apron and take His seat at the table with all those who attend His feast.  There will be joy, peace and love - a reunion never to be ended.  It is going to be Good!
