Don't Just Say I Love You
We can say we have faith. But until our actions show forth the faith we possess, it matters not. Likewise, I can say I love my spouse every day until I die, but if there is no active sign, my love brings no certainty and will remain unrealized.
Just as faith without works is dead, so too is saying “I love you” dead without any demonstration of your love. Faith and love are revealed through action. Without action they are simply semantics. It is vital that we express our love in both word and deed, but more so deed.
